FUN TRIVIA: The original meaning of the word rune is “secret, or something hidden”.
The rune Cen rune (Kaunan), in the Old English ‘cennan’, has its two meanings, ‘to beget’ and ‘ to bring forth from the mind’.” The k-rune (Younger Futhark, Anglo-Saxon futhorc ) is called Kaun in both the Norwegian and Icelandic rune poems, meaning “ulcer”. It looks totally different if using younger futhark.
